Small Business Marketing:Step by Step instructions for Facebook and Youtube

Starting your Social Network is the first step to begin marketing online.

Buy your own domain. I prefer http://namesecure.com

You can http://domize.com to find a URL that makes sense.
In other words, if you are in the tire business in Dallas you want some combination of:

tiresdallas.com, tirestoresdallas.com, dallastire.com or anything along those lines.

We will use SEOTucson as Example through instructions.

1. Clear all cookies

2. Install Firefox

3. Go to http://www.google.com/

4. Look on top of page and click on “gmail”

5. Click on second blue box on right
“create an account”

6. First Name will always be SEO

7. Last Name will always be Tucson

8. Desired last name will be as close to the URL you have bought.
Just do the best you can at this point but using
above example do this if google says “user name unavailable”
SEOTUCSON1 and then SEOTUCSON2 etc………………

7.Once Username is secured PW will always be
(case sensitive – uppercase) SEOTUCSON
copy and paste for speed and avoid typing in wrong on
verification of PW.

8 Security Question will always be the first question.
“what is my frequent flyer number”.
“pet’s name”.

Write these down on PAPER and keep in a safe place.

9. Secondary Email will be your regular email address

10. Complete with word verification and “I accept create my account”
If it fails it’s the typing of the word verification 99.99% of the
time – you will only have to re-enter the password but better to take
your time and try to enter correctly.(copy and paste PW to save time)
11.  Congratulations – click on “show me my account”

12. Go to the top right hand of account page and
copy and paste the address: In this case SEOTucson@gmail.com

13. LEAVE YOUR GMAIL ACCOUNT OPEN AS YOU WILL NEEED IT TO
VERIFY SEVERAL ACCOUNTS!!!!

14. Go to http://facebook.com

15. Go to right side of page where it  says join now.

16. Basically same procedure:

First Name: SEO
Last Name : Tucson
email: seotucson@gmail.com
gender: mail
birthdate jan 1 1957

17. Click on signup

18. Type in “word verification”

19. On the next page look for tiny print that says skip this step – click

20. On next page look for tiny print that says skip – click

21. On next page you will see in a cream colored line that says
“your account is not yet confirmed”

22. Go to your google account and verify your facebook account and forward that
email to your main email account

23. Log out of your newly formed facebook account

24. Log right back in.

25. Type “page” in top right hand box that
says search

26. Look for pages on left side of page under “people” – click

27. Click on first group on the right

28. Scroll to bottom page and click on tiny letters “advertising”

29. At the top of page click on “pages” – click on big green
button that says “create a page”

30. Put in the Name of your business using Keywords
SEO Tucson
31. Go to Name of Business – will be SEOTUCSON

32. Click on “I am authorized”

33. Type in the first and last name is electronic signature
so in our eg. would be SEO(SPACE)TUCSON

34. Click on “Become a fan”

35. Copy and paste the address in a safe place.

36. Next type form a group http://www.facebook.com/groups/create.php

36. Form your group
Name: SEOTUCSON
Description: (copy and paste) URL OF CLIENT
Group Type: Business and second box – companies

37. Create Group

38. Go to bottom of page hit save and box will appear and
click “publish”

39. Hit to “back to SEOTUCSON”

40.  Copy and paste and send to your primary email
Save in safe place.

41. Go to http://bit.ly and paste in the address for GROUP
Copy and Paste and save in safe place

42. Test link and make sure the group comes up

43. Go to http://bit.ly and paste in the address PAGE

44. Test both links

45. Go to “profile” on facebook
In the box where it says
Write something about yourself

Put this in box

Please Join my page
http://bit.ly/18J4FR

And jump into our Group
http://bit.ly/3i45ED

46. Type in search box SEO
Join a two or three groups that are SEO related
As soon as you join a group go to members and click on
“see all” and add friends – click on add friend – and then
send request – each friend requires you do a captcha so only
do a few.

47. Go to http://youtube.com
Use zipcode
Date Birthday: Jan 1 1957
Gender: Male
Click on “I accept”
When screen comes up go to right side and put
in your gmail address/pW/ etc.

48. Upload your first video from your computer.

After you hit upload and as the video loads type in the
Title which will always have SEO TUCSON (Keywords)
Next, you will put a description in.

49. The next box is the description.
a. Put in the URL
b. Name of Business
c. Phone Number
d. Description of Video in a short sentence

full of keywords.
e. Tags should be only 4 or 5 always making sense
(e.g.SEO Marketing advertising Tucson)
f. Mark category

50. Go to left side of screen and put cursor on big “my account” and
then click on “my channel” -

51. Done with the basics – Go buy a flipphone.
